The Queen's Diamond Jubilee Holiday Weekend

June 2012 will be a busy month for the Royal Family as Queen Elizabeth II celebrates her Diamond Jubilee. In honour of the occasion there will be an extra bank holiday this year on Tuesday 5 June 2012 and as the late May Bank Holiday Monday has been moved to Monday 4 June 2012 this will make a VERY long weekend to look forward to! Also most schools will have their half term holidays that week.

Ben 10 New for 2012 at Drayton Manor

Ben 10 Ultimate Mission opens in 2012 at Drayton Manor Theme Park. This new rollercoaster should be a hit with Ben 10 fans!





Guests staying at our B&B last year who visited Drayton Manor gave a great thumbs up to Thomas Land, it was a huge hit with the kids. This year Thomas and his friends will be joined by the Blue Mountain Engines.



Drayton Manor is approximately 1 hour by car from The Malthouse.

Consall Hall Plant Hunters Fair

If like us you love to be in your garden you might be interested in visiting a Plant Hunters Fair that is taking place at Consall Hall on Saturday 31 March 2012. The gardens and fair are open from 10am to 4pm, entry for adults is just £2 and child entry & parking is free.
