Now for those of you who've stayed at The Malthouse regularly you'll know we LOVE animals. We've waited a long time for a dog of our own and now here she is! Poppy is a Miniature Schnauzer puppy, just 8 weeks old. She came to live with us at the weekend and though she misses her brothers and sisters here she is meeting some new found friends two of our guests Sally and Louise.
She already loves running around the orchard but occasionally stops to chew the grass.
Meeting new people and playing in the garden can be very tiring, 40 winks is just what I need!
We were a little worried about how our cat Smudge would respond to his new housemate but all seems well at the moment. Watch this space!
